Dr. Fran answered the following questions:

Tell us about the ideas behind this book. What made you want to write it?

Explain your concept of InPowerment. How is it different from empowerment?

Describe your experiences as a professional basketball player. You were a member of the Houston Comets’ first WNBA National Championship team in 1997, and you spent time playing professionally in Italy and Switzerland.

What did losing your mother at age 16 teach you?

You have spoken to thousands of people in nearly 30 countries. Have you noticed differences in your audiences, or does the search for authenticity seem to be universal?

Tell us about your experiences with religion. You have a fairly controversial stance: the only path toward your true purpose is to abandon all traditional dogma, practices, uniform beliefs, and rituals of any organized religion.

What are the seven steps in your book?

You have a talk show in the works. Tell us a little about that.

You have also developed a podcast. Where can we hear it?

What are your workshops like? Are you doing any specifically for this book?

What is your greatest hope for your readers? What do you want them to take away from this book?
