Cary Williams-Nunez is co-founder of Prime Time Boxing & Fitness (www.primetimeboxing.com) a division of PRIME TIME, LLC.. Her boxing programs and DVD have been featured on NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX as well as in national publications such as Shape, Energy, Fitness, Entrepreneur and The New York Times.
Cary has been featured in FHM, Muscle & Fitness, Shape, Energy, Oxygen and Fitness magazines. She is in the current issue (May 2006) of Men’s Fitness and will be on the July 2006 cover of Muscle Fitness HERS. She is also a fitness columnist for the Sacramento Bee.
Before Cary dove into boxing she was a competitor of a different sort. She competed in Hawaiian Tropics and Venus Swimwear contests. In her last Hawaiian Tropics competition she was a finalist in California.
In the boxing world, Cary is the 3rd woman in the United States to pass and be designated a Level IV Olympic Coach. Cary is also certified through the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado as an Elite Boxing Coach. With this level of coaching and experience she has been selected by the NORTHERN LBC/USA BOXING/OLYMPIC TRAINING CENTER to certify individuals as a LEVEL I USA Boxing coach.
Cary holds a Bachelors Degree from California State University, Sacramento, and has over 10 years experience in the boxing and fitness industry. Cary’s belief is that in order to coach an individual in any sport you must have at least competed to understand the game completely.
