Lydia Wanders is the Business Development Manager at Dr. Smoothie (www.drsmoothie.com).

Before starting at Dr. Smoothie in 1999 Lydia Wanders’ professional background includes multi-layers of sales and management experience for well-known consumer brands such as Tyco Toys, Swift & Co., Monet Jewelry and Revlon Cosmetics.

As the Sales Manager for Dr. Smoothie Enterprises, Lydia lead a team of sales professionals that put Dr. Smoothie on the map. Developing an effective sales training program for employees as well as distributors, Lydia is responsible for increasing sales in the distributor sector of business and also works in international sales.

One of Lydia’s primary focuses is in providing the tools to educate Dr. Smoothie’s clients on the benefits of good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, and of course, the benefits of Dr. Smoothie products. Leading by example, Lydia firmly believes in the company’s motto of “Health…More than a Diet…(it’s) a Lifestyle.

Currently heading up the Public Relations and Marketing Department at Dr. Smoothie, Lydia continues to put Dr. Smoothie on the map. From website design to press coverage, Lydia works closely with the health and fitness community as well as the medical field to get the word out that a good healthy smoothie can be the answer to consumer’s needs for a quick meal on the go, a vehicle to deliver necessary medication to children and patients unable to take pills, smoothies are perfect for pre or post workout, AND besides, they’re just delicious!
